A successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), position overview, blue prints, and work instructions
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Follows written and verbal instructions and assignments
• Adheres to all company procedures, rules and regulations e.g.  safety & 5s procedures
• Effectively assemble a variety of products that range from standardized design and function to non-standard products.
• Work requires basic mechanical assembly aptitude, technique and ability to operate machinery, equipment, and computer terminals
• Use required measuring and gauging devices
• Testing and field wiring
• Contribute to a positive work environment
• Keep equipment and surroundings neat and clean
• Performs other duties as assigned

 
Mechanical Assembler III Duties

• Proficiency of up to 75% Assembly duties in home department as it relates to the Skills matrix.
• Willing and proficient in assembling various products in Multiple Departments 

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of assembly experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and written instruction to determine the form, fit and function of parts
• Adept in basic critical thinking, problem solving and spatial reasoning
• Familiar with the use of various hand/power tools
• Good organizational skills
• Pneumatic testing and pressure testing experience
• Sit-down forklift experience
• May require lifting and use of overhead hoist assembly
• Detail oriented
