In 2004, the Wheeling Park District adopted a new logo and a new mission statement. The changes express the Park District’s renewed commitment to YOU. YOU are the driving force behind all the Park District offers.
Our mission is to provide memorable experiences in parks and recreation that enrich our communities.
The Wheeling Park District is working toward a future where all ages and backgrounds find memorable experiences in parks and recreation. Whether in a class, on a field, in the gym, or at a park, the Park District is dedicated to enriching the community through recreation.
