Job Description
Manufacturer located in New Berlin seeking a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler. Great temp to hire opportunity!
A successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Mechanical assembly of components
- Ensure that established quality standards are adhered to
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs), position overview, blue prints, and work instructions
- Refrigeration – remove air from unit and charge with refrigerant
- Visually inspect and reject parts outside of written specifications
- Adhere to all safety procedures with high level of detail
A qualified candidate will be proactive and possess these requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and written instruction to determine the form, fit and function of part
- Mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Brazing experience
- Refrigeration experience
- Plumbing skills
- Forklift experience and ability to obtain a forklift certification
