Description:

Position Summary:

The Specialist Sales Strategy provides financial and strategic analytical support for strategic and transformational initiatives across all areas of the business. This role builds and standardizes a suite of data sets and reporting tools to deliver insights to the Business Unit. This role defines a framework for scalable reporting, strategic planning, and supporting senior sales and operations leadership. As a member of the Business Unit strategy team this person will supply insights to build strategic business cases, support business strategies, and transform static reports into actionable, living dashboards.

Fully Remote Role, can be located anywhere in the U.S.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to:
  • Design and implement repeatable processes and reporting packages that empower sales, supply chain, and operations with critical data related to strategy and execution.
  • Track and report out on key performance metrics tied to Business Unit Transformation
  • Leverage reporting to align functional groups on strategy with optimal benefit for the Business Unit
  • Deliver value chain financial analysis of transformation scenarios
  • Develop and maintain standardized operational reports and dashboards to monitor overall Business Unit health.
  • Collect, analyze, and report sales, supply chain, and financial data to track regional performance and metrics.
  • Develop data sets and models in support of project plans, budgets, and capital requests.
  • Analyze multiple data sources across functions to build user-friendly reports.
  • Train and coach front line managers and leadership teams on usage of reports and dashboards.
  • Implement data solutions to satisfy business requirements.
  • Partner with local leaders to ensure accuracy and integrity of data and solve for gaps as they arise.
  • Partner with Business Unit distribution and manufacturing leadership to plan and implement service,and cost programs that deliver world class results.
  • Work to improve operational visibility and actionable reporting that supports complexity reduction.
  • Champion transformation as an agent of change
  • Develop Intra BU relationships to support replication of transformation throughout BBU
  • Support scaling of transformation with scenario analysis & operational support as needed

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or a related field.

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Four or more years of related and varied experience in business analysis, strategy, supply chain operations, or sales.
  • May substitute a combination of training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work.
  • Experience developing and implementing complex solutions, such as:
  • completing cost or profit and loss analyses;
  • preparing business cases;
  • applying activity-based costing;
  • using output from statistical, simulation, and optimization tools;`
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools and software such as Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik
  • Experience with extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) data modeling or data tools such as Alteryx
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python is preferred
  • Experience with AS400 mainframes and Oracle databases is a plus
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions or managed services is a plus
  • Ability to travel, visit facilities/sales centers/distribution centers within the business unit.
  • Strong analytic skills, financial literacy, and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to plan & accomplish goals with limited supervision.
  • Salary Range: $101,700 TO $142,400
