Job Description
Thank you for viewing our ad! You have opened a unique opportunity to work with a wonderful
27-year-old male. This young man is loving and delightful! He communicates with picture cardsand his iPad. He enjoys movies and listening to music. But he is in his element interacting with
his care givers, who become his closest companions, sitting in his glider outside enjoying nature
or going for walks. He spends his day interacting at home with his teacher, music therapist and
massage therapist in a space tailored to his specific needs. He lives in an adapted ranch home
with his loving supportive parents and two sweet cats, nestled in the woods, surrounded by
nature.
Although he suffers GI pain intermittently, he is still delightful and charming. His “secret smile”
could launch a thousand ships: leaving everyone in awe of his fighting spirit and gentle nature.
The right applicant needs to be patient and empathetic. We all work together for a shared goal
of keeping this young man at home in an environment driven by precision focused care,
kindness, and companionship; allowing him to learn and grow at his own pace and in his own
way.
Details of the Job requirements and skills:
- RN/LPN Private Duty Nursing
- Associate degree and License required AND we welcome Graduate nurses’
- Paid on-site training
- No trach or vent
- Hourly reimbursement rate higher than independent provider rate
- Long-established and well-organized case
- No vaccine required
- Training will include one-on-one direction from seasoned nurses and family, learning
skilled care including, not limited to, daily TPN and IVF set-up and administration,
Ileostomy cares, G&J cares, medication administration, and aerosol treatments.
- Physical demands of the job include assisting with transfers, walking and ADLs.
Shifts:
Weekdays: 6am-6pm (Please contact for specifics)
Saturday and Sunday Days: 6am-6pm
Friday and Saturday Nights: 6pm-6am
*Can be flexible with shift times and lengths but must work a minimum of 1x a week or at
least 5x a month.
Start Date: ASAP, Immediate shifts available Rate of Pay: RN $40.00/hour, LPN
$30.00/hour.
Experience: Welcome but not necessary as you will receive on-the-job training.
Location: Elm Grove, WI (near Brookfield Square)
