  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 Hours a Week

A Brief Overview:
The purpose of this job is to assist the Program Director of the Endeavor Health Perinatal Depression Program in these areas:

  • Coordination of perinatal depression screening program, including follow-up with high screening patients and provide outreach requests.

  • Coordinate maintenance of program resource lists, including identification of new resources.

  • Assist in program development efforts as the program grows and expands (including but not limited to coordination of expansion of perinatal depression screening program to Endeavor Health hospitals).

  • Maintain up-to-date data on program services and produce progress reports as needed.

  • Support director with clinical support and coordination of MOMS Line


What you will do:

  • Knowledge and application of Endeavor Health policies and procedures that apply to job and area of responsibility.

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, brief intervention and support by phone with all patients scoring above the high-risk cutoff.

  • Document assessments appropriately and provide physical feedback.

  • Provide referrals to community mental health providers and other resources.

  • Play and active role in expansion of screening program to other settings.

  • Engage in feedback mechanism for providers who screen or refer to the Perinatal Depression Program.

  • Work closely was a member of the PDP team to identify and recruit new providers.

  • Periodically re-contact all providers on resource list to verify accuracy of information; update as needed.

  • Work closely with Director and other members of the PDP clinical team to develop and implement improvements to existing clinical services (screening program, hotline, provider network)

  • As program expands, assist Director and others in developing and implementing new areas of clinical service delivery.

  • Coordinate exportation of screening program to other settings (other Endeavor Health hospitals) under the director of the Director and Medical Director.

  • Ensure that various program databases are kept up to date.

  • Respond to requests for up-to-date statistics re: screening program and hotline.

  • Collaborate with other PDP team members to produce periodic progress reports.

  • Participate in training and educational initiatives of the program

  • Become involved with program research as interest and other responsibilities permit.

What you will need:

  • Master's Degree Mental Health Services Required

  • 5 Years' experience in the area of mental health services

  • Experience in crisis, assessment and clinical supervision; perinatal acumen preferred

  • Ability to conduct mental health assessments and brief intervention by phone.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.

  • Bilingual/multilingual preferred; Ability to fluently speak, read, and write Spanish strongly preferred.

  • Licensed social worker, professional counselor, or psychologist preferred. Licensure is a requirement.
