Job Description

What you will do

Assists Regional Vice President and the Regional Management Team in driving business results. As a strategic individual, you will lead the planning and control of financial results consistent with long-term business objectives. Youwill provide direction, training and counseling to Regional Leadership Team and Market General Managers on a wide variety of business/financial issues to ensure achievement of performance targets.

How you will do it

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals within the region.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.

  • Support key stakeholders including but not limited to: Region Vice President, Regional Senior Leadership team, BSNA Senior Leadership, Regional Customers & Suppliers

  • Drive financial performance of the region through improving profitability, supporting growth initiatives and managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital

  • Proactively works with the Regional Team to improve actual financial results consistent with operating plan commitments and objectives.

  • Continually performs business evaluations to identify future opportunities for improvement and barriers to achieving strategic and financial objectives.

  • Develops and reviews monthly financial results and business metrics for product lines and business.

  • Proactively identifies business/financial opportunities and corrective actions and implements them or communicates them to management for implementation.

  • Provides financial leadership, training and direction to the financial and operating team to improve their financial and business skills so they can more effectively manage their business.

  • Increases the financial and business performance awareness of non-financial employees through training on financial measurements and interrelationships, asset management techniques, planning, forecasting and control procedures.

  • Supports monthly management reporting and analysis as well as sales tracking and reporting. Develops financial material for Operations Reviews.

  • Identifies best business practices and facilitates the propagation of these practices throughout the business.

  • Supports the financial/business planning and forecasting process for the business. Reviews the plans and forecasts for alignment with business objectives, market opportunities and the ability to execute. Provides recommendations and direction to the management team.

  • Identify financial risks within the region and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Works with Regional Vice President to identify acquisition opportunities and provide business case support and analysis to ensure the acquisition/Divestiture opportunities meet financial expectations.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience. Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a multinational organization or regional setting.

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

  • Excellent understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable strategies.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling software.
