Position Highlights:

• Location: Elmhurst Hospital 155 E. Brush Hill Road Elmhurst, IL.
• Full Time 1.0 FTE
• Hours: 6am-2:30pm various shifts Monday-Friday AND every other weekend and holiday rotations

Brief overview of what you will do:

• Under minimal supervision, the Medical Lab Scientist Lead has the authority and accountability for facilitating the delivery of quality service on a particular shift or within a sub-specialty of a laboratory discipline In doing so, may establishes work priorities, staffing schedules and training of employees.
• Serves as a role model and mentor for patient satisfaction and customer service values with all staff. Follows up and resolves patient complaints. Instructs and encourages coworkers to treat patients and hospital staff courteously. Enhances the laboratory's image by reacting positively with all customers.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Healthcare, or Business OR an Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• Minimum one year of previous Medical Technologist and/or lab supervisory experience
• Flexibility with scheduling due to changing conditions
