Job Description:

• The P-3 (Preschool Through Grade 3) Certified Teacher is responsible for providing a range of instructional, assessment, and positive behavioral support strategies to ensure educational excellence in a Head Start classroom for a maximum of fifteen (15) 3-5-year-old children.

• The position collaborates with an assistant teacher, family members, and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.

• The role encompasses effective practices as outlined in our Teacher Success Rubric and stated job duties.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education OR a related field with at least six (6) courses in Early Childhood Education

• Teacher Certification required (P-3, CE, CEAS, or Standard).

• Experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred.

• Bilingual Spanish - English preferred.

Additional Information:

This full-time position includes benefits and offers a salary from September to June according to the District scale. The exact salary will be determined based on your education and experience per District guidelines.

Pre-Hire Requirements:

• This position requires Two Valid IDs, Two Reference Letters, Physical Exams and TB Tests, Fingerprint Screening (CHRI), and Background Checks (CARI)

• Must have a Valid Driver's License and a reliable transportation
